What is available
The full Measura suite is performed at the Woodson Road suite: vascular studies, sudomotor testing, autonomic function studies, body composition, measured metabolic rate, vestibular and balance testing, cognitive screening and laboratory panels. See the full test library.
Why this matters in St. Louis
The conditions this testing detects — peripheral artery disease, small-fiber and autonomic neuropathy, insulin resistance, vestibular dysfunction — cluster in the same populations that carry the heaviest burden of diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. In an urban population where access to primary care is uneven, a great deal of that disease is present and unmeasured well before anyone presents with it.
The practical implication is the one this whole site rests on: in the general adult population, 12.2% of American adults met a full definition of optimal metabolic health in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey for 2009 to 2016 — so roughly 88% of US adults did not. Screening built around the assumption that abnormality is unusual will find it late.
Who from the city is typically assessed
Adults over 50 with a cardiovascular risk factor, everyone over 70, and anyone hypertensive, overweight, a smoker or diabetic. Who should be tested sets out the full list.

Common questions
Is there parking?
Yes, on site and level with the entrance — which matters when part of the visit is a balance assessment. Directions and parking.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can arrange testing yourself and name the clinician who should receive the report. Referrals and reports.
How long should I allow?
Most of a morning or an afternoon for a full assessment; a focused panel is much shorter. How long testing takes.
What should I bring?
Identification, insurance card, a full medication and supplement list, recent laboratory results, and your glasses and hearing aids. What to bring.
